## The game

The game is free to download and play for **personal, non-commercial use**. You
may install it on machines you use and share the unmodified download with
others.

Not permitted without written permission:

- selling it, or bundling it with anything sold
- distributing modified copies
- redistributing it as part of a commercial product or service

## The bundled music and note charts

The songs and note charts that ship with the game are **not mine to
relicense** and are not covered by the terms for the game above. The repository
records attribution and license claims for them, but the exact recording and
chart redistribution evidence is still under review. See the bundled-content
section of [THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.md](THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.md), which ships beside
this file. The source audit record is `legal/bundled-content.json`. Do not
distribute a build containing those works until the legal release checklist is
complete. Recorded credits travel with the audio in
`bundled_songs/README.md`, and the game lists them on its credits screen.

The game is built on open-source libraries, each under its own license, listed
in full in [THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.md](THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.md).
